Precita Eyes Muralists
Precita Eyes Muralists Association is an iconic non-profit community arts organization and a cornerstone of San Francisco’s cultural heritage. Established in 1977, it is one of only a few community mural arts centers in the United States. The organization is dedicated to enriching urban environments and educating the public about the process and history of collaborative mural art, particularly within the Mission District and Bernal Heights.

Community Murals: Coordination and creation of collaborative public art projects that celebrate local culture, history, and social unity.
Mural Tours: Award-winning guided walking tours of the Mission District’s famous murals, including Balmy Alley, led by professional muralists.
Arts Education: Low-cost weekly art classes and workshops for children, youth, and adults, ranging from spray art to traditional mural techniques.
Mural Arts Store: A specialized shop offering high-quality acrylic paints, professional mural kits, original artwork, and neighborhood mural maps.
Urban Youth Arts Festival: An annual summer event (held every 3rd Saturday of July) that provides a safe space for youth to explore spray art and creative expression in Precita Park.
