Founded by friends and homebrewing enthusiasts Lester Koga, Mike Seitz, and Ben Sterling, Barebottle Brewing Company is a cornerstone of the Bernal Heights craft scene. What started as a shared passion for weekend brewing has grown into a 16,000-square-foot production powerhouse and community hub.

Barebottle is defined by its “Bare” philosophy: using transparent, high-quality ingredients sourced from across the globe—from Minnesota malt to New Zealand hops. Beyond their award-winning beers, the brewery has expanded into a multi-craft beverage destination, roasting their own coffee and producing their own wines, kombuchas, and natural sodas with the same meticulous attention to detail.
